Typically, ESTAma is appointed by a Seller to carry out a sales process (sellside broker). In other cases, we support investors in their search for suitable asset to purchase. Typical Sellside Process:

  • Preparation: asset and market analysis, investment story, marketing details (maybe graphic designer), vendor due diligence, W&I insurance
  • Data room: coordinate property manager, asset manager and lawyers, agree data room index with client, plausibility and completeness check, administration of users
  • Marketing & viewings: short-listing of potential buyers, market approach (teaser, NDAs), registration of interest, issue sales details and data pack, viewings & buyer meetings, indicative offers, analysis & report
  • Second round: meeting bidders, discussion of offer details (assumptions, conditionality, funding, approvals), negotiate LOIs, issue (co-)exclusivity
