London, 26 February 2024 – ESTAma announces the acquisition of an EDEKA Cash & Carry store in Hanover by a private investor. 

The property is located in the district of Lahe in the northeast of the city, opposite the “Hanover-Lahe” junction of the A2 motorway and in the heart of a busy commercial estate and retail park with a number of other well-known retailers including Media Markt, Möbel Höffner, porta, OBI and the Kaufland anchored “A2 Center”. Originally opened in 1991, the tenant recently renewed its commitment to the highly visible store with a long-term lease extension and the property will undergo a major renovation in the coming months. 

The transaction shows that despite challenging market conditions sales are still possible by identifying the right local investors. 

The seller, a Danish investor, approached ESTAma given its unique track record and network to national and local investors. The parties agreed to keep the purchase prices confidential.
